Aaaugh, why must so many Doctor Who fics be SO BAD at characterization?!
Uff.
I think I’ve read several of those. As for how it fits in…. well, awkwardly. The easiest way to manage it is via crossover, the next easiest via the Bat Cave Affair. I’ve only read two that didn’t take either of those routes.
It always stretches the MFU style, sometimes to the breaking point.
